Bolt size for bed storage compartment?

I stripped one of the bolts for the bed storage after installing my bed rug. Does anyone have the size for a replacement?

Pull one out and take it to the store with you.

 

I believe they are 6mm x 1.0. I'm not sure about the length......

 

Well, this is the logical response lol. I'll do that this weekend and post it back in here for anyone else who is curious.

 

I did not. I took it to the hardware store, but was not able to find an exact match. I still have to check on the license plate every once in a while to make sure it's still there lol. I might just bite the bullet and get one with thicker threads and drill it in.

 

They are M6 x 1.0.

Not of sure the exact length of the stock fasteners, but I replaced all of mine with 25 mm length SS fasteners, so 25 mm length will work just fine as a replacement. 20 mm length would probably work fine as well.

 

I stripped two bolts on the left side so I took one from the right. Now each side is missing just one and it’s fine lol
