I'm 95% sure my late cousin's Hutch Trick Star is still at my aunt and uncle's house. My GT mags were on there to replace the cracked lavender mags.

I've still got my mid-90's Dyno VFR and my 1997 Haro Shredder Super Deluxe hanging in my garage.

I bet a good oxalic acid bath would fix it

I doubt they'd sell it...I'd venture to guess it's either been tossed or isn't for sale. I don't want to upset them by making a point of how valuable it is. I would love to get my GT mags back though.

I'd agree but wow what a grail that bike is..especially if it has the Aerospeeds.

If you want a nice winter project with him, dismantle it in the offseason and do the oxalic acid bath/soak. Makes a big difference.

Don't have pics of the others yet but my list:

1986 General Blood pictured above. 95% original including the reflectors. I've upgraded the brakes and mags, and removed the reflectors but still have them. Not easy to find one that still has the screw-in fork pegs.

    1994 GT Vertigo in chrome.

2002 or 2004 WeThePeople Daredevil in purple

    2012 SE Quadangle in purple

2001 Haro Dave Mirra 540 Air in blue

1997 or 98 Torker..old school style with the twin top tube that the Haro Freestyler was based upon. Chrome with black trim and yellow stickers. Have the Torker scooter in the same color scheme.

1970s Kent with banana seat and ape hanger bars.

Nice little project..if you didn't already, maybe use a DA polisher on the chrome too at low speed. Jealous..MA winters suck.

This winter was too busy but next time I would like to disassemble my Torker and do a full restoration.

That's pretty much exactly what it looks like, just without the stickers, an old Gyro and GT mags. It had the purple mags on it but he cracked one. I don't know about the cranks, it's been at least 20 years since I last rode it.

I remember when Mongoose was a high quality bike before you could buy them at Wal-Mart. They're still ok, nowhere close to what they were.
