Bluetooth-iPhone Issues

    2021 Tacoma with Premium Sound, iPhone 13 iOS 15.5

    I have developed a problem in the past couple weeks where my iphone connects to my truck, I can make and receive calls, I can play music via bluetooth but ONLY if I initiate and play it from my phone. I cannot browse music files on my phone. When I hit browse, the icon for my phone is greyed-out like it inaccessible but both the truck and the iPhone indicate they are connected together. I've tried unpairing and re-pairing and have rebooted the phone but so far, nothing helps. Anyone experience this and/or have a solution? It's perplexing.

    Yeah, the Music app that comes preloaded. I've noticed it doesn't recognize my phone when I uninstall that app. Or doesn't let me play music via the cord anyways.

    Thanks, I looked a the thread. The only thing I see there that I haven't tried is logging out of and back into the Toyota App. I will certainly try it but it's hard to see how that can affect what I am experiencing. Some of the users talk about updating their Entune Suite. Entune won't even load onto my phone, when I try, it redirects me to the Toyota App which says it replaced Entune.

    So, I've tried everything listed in the thread and my phone only connects about 50% of the time. The dealer says I have the latest software updates, my phone is running the latest iOS (15.6). I unpaired and repaired the phone but the problem persists. The truck says it is connected to my phone but I cannot browse anything or play anything. It's all greyed out and unaccessible. Quite frustrating and pretty much unusable.
