I have "blue" bulbs from Autoanything. They are VisionX brand. They give off a white light, compared to stock yellowish. Are you wanting blue bulbs or blue bulbs?

They are in the $25-30 dollar range and have not let me down. Almost 2 1/2 years.

At $150/pr they are a little pricey but compared to a set of PIAAs or Silverstar Ultras they'll pay for themselves in about 3 yrs. With a lifespan of 30k-50k hours these may be the last set of headlights you'll ever buy. CREE LEDs, 5000K color temp blue/white comparable to HID but much lower wattage (22w low/ 25w high) with same visibility. Most drivers at night think I have my high beams on when I don't. If they get pissy about it I turn on my Rigid Industries Duallys & remind them what looking into the sun feels like.

How would they pay for themselves if OEM lights never need to be replaced?

Vehicles with blue bulbs are a pain in the @$$. You can't see. Why do you need them to be that bright? Get off road lights and only use them when your off roads. I saw a guy today in daylight and I need sunglasses they were so bright.

I had blue bulbs in a Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 1 week and I took them out. IMO, you can't see crap with blue bulbs. The wavelength of the blue light is not good for good vision...again IMO.

"blue" like 6000k + bulbs might look brighter but infact they are not. they often take standard bulbs and coat the glass with a blue tint... the coating reduces the lumen output and the blue light makes things less visible.... do yourself a favor dont be one of those assholes i flash like a mo fo because hes rocking blue lights / HID retrofit and blinding everyone.

Never in my 30 years experience do OEM tungsten filament headlight bulbs never need to be replaced. Unless they are in a showroom environment & rarely used. They generally last about 1-2 yrs, then the low beam filament breaks & in the case of Osram Silverstar Ultra bulbs you pay $50 for a new pair. In my 2k T4R they last about 12-14 months. $150/pair for LED lights w/o a filament or glass vacuum bulb to break & a lifetime service guarantee. The math is pretty simple, they pay for themselves in about 3 yrs.

They are illegal in some locals. They should be illegal everywhere! The blue lights will give you eye fatigue, as well as blinding oncoming traffic.

Blue doesn't automatically mean blinding and bright. 8000k-10000k are very blue and not bright enough to blind.........but they are also not very effective at making things seen better either.

If the OP is looking for something in that range he is just going for looks. Won't put out good light at all and less than stock.

I've got LED lights in mine and they are 5000k and perfectly white

So much i didn't know! Thanks to everyone for your input. I've always thot you would see better. Guess they don't have to be blue. Just think it looks cool when I see them. The main thing is to get rid of all that efing yellow.

If he's blinding everyone with HIDs it's most likely a plug and play kit rather than a retrofit. Retrofits don't blind unless they're aimed or installed incorrectly.

That's exactly what mine look like, my own personal slice of low glare coherent 5000K daylight.
