I want to blackout my Toyota logo on the front.
Does anyone here know how this can be done?
Not make the logo black, but to completely darken it so it looks like a black oval.

Basically get rid of the logo and have a black oval.

Do you have a truck with the sensor package in the grille (so it has a glossy embossed emblem) or one without the front sensors so it's just a plastic outline with no backing). Your description sounds like the sensor option, as the non-sensor one would look like this if blacked out.

Thanks guys, but that's not what I meant/looking for.
I want to have the logo gone completely.
And just have a black oval.

I guess I can use black electrical tape, but worried it will look tacky.
I just want to know if someone sells something that can cover my logo.

If you choose charcoal in the link I posted above it will black out the emblem, I try not to mess with my emblem because of the tss.

I'd figure a tinted overlay would be an option then, I know the place that did my window tint told me they've done a few Tacomas with darker tint over the sensor garnish like what can be applied to lights or windows while keeping the sensors functional, presumably similar to the tinted overlay posted earlier in the thread.

Be careful what you put over the sensor; ice, snow and very heavy rain has been known to make it inoperable. I personally have experience with ice and snow.

Suggest you put in your bio what truck you have and it's features - look at my panel on the left of the screen and then look at yours for a comparison.

I took mine off and hit it with a few coats of VHT Niteshades taillight paint. I didn't want a total blackout, so I just did enough coats to dull the chrome look. With enough coats, you should be able to totally black it out.
