This. You roll the dice on quality on Amazon knockoffs, don't always trust reviews. OEM you know you're getting quality.

 

Just don’t buy metal ones. The ones I bought turned gray within a year

 

Floss and goo gone! No emblems are best emblems.

I bought a replacement set on Amazon which seemed to be pretty good. Measured and took off all badges. Then, had an epiphany... Badges? I don't need no sticking badges...
I have some TRD silver trapezoids coming from England to swap out the Leer decals.
Daughter has since graduated so that is gone also...only one remaining is a BFL

 

you are wise! Toyota does a horrific job badging. Do we really need Tacoma spelled out 30 times on our trucks?

Depends how much you want to spend honestly. Toyota OEM is going to be best since it is specifically made for the truck by the manufacture. However, you are going to pay out the butt for it unless you go on ebay or such. Dealer will probably be around $150, as the part website is showing $122.

Amazon will be your cheapest route, however, its a mixed bag again.

I picked up these. Fit is pretty much perfect, and they are ABS Plastic. Can't really say if they will fade or not, since I haven't had them all too long, but they look perfectly fine.

Oh, they are "Pro"? I am not sure my 2002 Tundra SR5 can stomach adding Pro badging Have you seen non-pro? Looks like a tricky one to find indeed. Very cool though. What search terms did you use?

 

There is an Etsy link in that post, you may want to play around in that site. Lots of DIY'ers. I search Leer Dome Tacoma Decal Badge... and end those in Tacomaworld.com to find stuff here.

 

I've had some blackout emblems from Amazon on my truck for about 2 years now. No fade and holding strong through plenty of pressure washes and temps from 3 to 110 degrees.

Buy OEM.

 

I did my side emblems and the front grill "T" with one can of plastidip. Has held up great so far going on a year+. Just another possible option.

 

If you're willing to spend the dough, I usually prefer OEM for many things. OEM install went well. Doesn't look like an overlay; can't see any gaps.
