Black oem or replica off road grill

Looking for all black off road style grill for a 2022 offroad. I see a few for 2016-2020. I'm reading reviews that the 2022 tss sensor don't play nice with the emblem. You'd think you could just switch the stock emblem but I'm also reading the mounts are slightly different. Anyone have a lead?

 

Do you mean the Pro grill? There are plenty of threads you can find info on to compare the OEM/aftermarket grills. The OEM grill is so cheap now it makes sense to just get that and an aftermarket garnish if you don’t want to spend for the OEM.

 

Yeah I see plenty of those, but I'm refering to the stock cheese grater grill that comes on trd off roads. Mine is smoked gray with chrome surround and it's got to go.

 

Paint it gloss or flat black. We've had a few members that have done that to theirs and it looked pretty damn nice. I'll see if I can find the pictures they posted.

 

Any idea what they used to do it? Just a rattle can?

 

Yup, just a $5 rattle can they picked up at the local hardware store. You can pick: Flat, Gloss, Semi-Gloss, etc.. Whatever kind you want. I know they said they used 5 - 7 coats on it.

 

Wow that cheese grater looks so much better in black than chrome. I like the honeycomb as it comes, but looks pretty good in black too. I was considering buying a pro grill for the Sport, but may just paint the honeycomb black if I get tired of the grey.
