BLACK FRIDAY DEALS? What are you getting for your 3rd gen?

It definitely made a difference in mine, one of my biggest annoyances was starting off on a hill because the gear ratio difference from 1st to 2nd is so dramatic i pretty much had to shift at 4k or higher otherwise 2nd gear just felt sluggish. The intake manifold spacer helped that somewhat but the fueling was still off and it was obvious. Now I can shift at 3-3500 into 2nd and it accelerates noticeably better than it used to. In general, I wouldn't say it's an overly noticeable power increase as much as a smoother operation all around which to me is all i really wanted. Having numerous vehicles in my "fleet" tuned i will always agree it's the best thing you can do for noticeable change in driveability. The best source to see how much it can make a difference is by searching motorcycle tuning videos as they are much more open to showing exactly how engines are tuned from the factory and what they change. The pedal commander can certainly send a signal for full throttle with less driver input, but the factory tune will not necessarily open the throttle 100%, where are tune will actually change throttle angle to open 100% when commanded

 

Thank you for your opinion, I will keep an eye out for a tuner near me. I don't think there are many.
I have noticed with the peddle commander that sitting at idle my truck seems to rev too high sometimes. So much so that I pull my foot away from the gas pedal thinking that I am doing it.

My taco needs a really good car wash to get the mud out of my wheels. That or I lost a wheel weight. It’s shaking so much at 60mph that it’s wearing holes in my underwear. This has to be fixed. Mud be gone.

 

Picked this up today at Lowes. 7/8” thru 1-7/8” sockets. And I still got my 10% veterans discount, so only $100. Slow moving item - the papers inside were dated 5/18.
