Depends on what your plans for the truck. If plan to wheel a lot then Fox all the way. Occasionally wheeling then Bilstein are still a good choice.

Too be honest King shocks is the way to go but that's me ;)

I’m in the same exact boat. What I don’t understand is it says the fox is preset for 2 inches. That can be adjusted right? If so can you get 3 inches out of them? Can’t find answers

That's a sick setup man! But sadly King's cost more than I want to spend. I live in SC so there won't be any rock crawling or running through deserts at high speeds for me.

Yes and yes. 3" lift is not a comfortable ride. All King, Fox, Icon, etc... are tested and tuned at 2" lifted any higher is at your own risk.

From what I have read is that the fox can go higher. But man, I'm just surprised at the lack of info on both of these kits.

Exactly my problem! This is a lot of money. I want either of these kits leaning more towards fox but want to know if they can atleast go up to 2.5

Both Fox and King can go higher but it will compromise ride quality and wear out the CV joints due to the extreme angle of the 3" lift.

Ok do you know if the level 1 and two are the same as 2.5? As far as adjustability?

Level one just doesn't have the remote reservoir and is 2.0" the level 2 is 2.5" and has the reservior  I recommend @HeadStrong Off-Road if you plan to buy the Foxes

I am more than likely going with head strong level 2 is what I will probably be going with and a 1/4 inch spacer to make it a full 3 inch of lift. How does the front ride maxed out?

Extended travel gives you another 1/2” or so of droop. You have to run aftermarket uniball ucas with ext travel

Awesome. So only uniball? Light racing wouldn’t work?

As far as i know uniballs are required because the ball joint in light racing or oem ucas become the limiting factor on the downtravel and put them in a bind

Edit: i know this is the case with Kings, this may be different with the foxes

Extended travel has more travel. You have to run aftermarket UCAs and remove the sway bar to take advantage of it.

Im running the LR UCAs with my setup...no need to run uniballs
