Bilstein 5100s on 2023 Tacoma?

Has anyone installed the 5100s on their 2023?

You must must have a 4th gen

 

have the shocks been upgraded? would it be redundant (new gen shocks long enough for your planned lift for instance), or not provide an improvement? just curious what drives the question.

 

I reached out to Bilstein and their response was basically, "...we won't be testing the 5100s on 23 year models until April or May, we would not advise you to install them until we conclude our testing.." I know they have to 'Cover their A$$' but I don't see how any involved components would have been seriously altered by Toyota the year before the refresh. Was seriously asking if anybody with a 2023 Tacoma has installed them...

 

also, my local 4wheel Parts in Palm Beach Florida said they would NOT install them until the 23' info was added to Billsteins' site.

 

No difference 16 to 23, only on pro, that is different UCA's.

Give it a try, you can always take them back off and sell them quick. Just risking some elbow grease and few bucks.

 

They work, the TRD lift kit is basically 5100's and they are listed for 23's and I have seen them installed on 23's.

 

Plus the price of a realignment, I guess. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And you can let us all know.

All four Bilstein 5100s installed on the 2023 SR without an issue. Front set on 4th notch (gained about 1.5 inches in the front and another .5 with the 265 tires). This is a must if you are running bigger/heavier tires. The ride is way better, way smoother and more planted compared to 265s on the stock Hitachis.

Beautiful looking truck. I recently just got a SR and want to put Bilstein 5100’s all around. Did you use the stock front coils? Height looks great and that is what I am trying to achieve.

Running 5100’s on mine with a 3” and 2” in the rear readylift and 4WP UCA’s.
