Hey, I am looking to replace my tires with something alittle bigger. I want to keep my 16'' stock rims.

If you just bought a 3rd gen tacoma and it had old 245/75r16's on it what would you replace them with ? open to suggestions

    new to the community
    thanks jack

48 hours in for my 2018 Tacoma, tinted windows and debadged
I just bought the cooper ST MAXX like Monday, only a 100miles on them. So for quiet at freeway speeds. looks dang sexy and I have 16" rims.

Most people go to 265/75/16 but you could always go with the skinnies too!

will 265/75/16 be like 1-2" larger ? mostly driving in the city but I would like a slight all terrain look without getting too crazy.

What do you plan to do with your truck? Off road a lot, mostly daily driver, live in a snowy area or rainy area?

Honestly I think one of these to avoid the E rated heavy tires: falken wildpeak at, Toyo open country at3, Goodyear duratracs C load, or Goodyear ultraterrains

maybe something more like the Michelin LTX, Toyo open country at3, or cooper discoverer opposed to the Duratracs even though those are sick as hell

A 265/75 R16 will give you 0.5” of lift. I’ve been loving my Toyo Open Country AT3’s. Perfect for in town and off road. These are the SL rated tires. I didn’t take too much of a hit in mpg’s but you will notice 1-2 mpg lower than the 245’s.

Just went 265/70/17 ko2’s essentially the same diameter as 265/75/16. I went C Load Ko2’s and they look awesome, no rub and it drives better. Really helps reduce the body roll.

Can't beat the look of BFGoodrich KO2's IMO!
