Anybody running 420cc injectors with turbo setup? Tuned? Untuned? I need some feedback.

4pcs OEM Mazda (04-08 RX-8) Denso Yellow Fuel Injectors 195500-4450

I was told by a tune shop here that these would work. Both seals look to be the same size but the ones arent long nozzle? 100 bucks is pretty cheap

100 bucks for the whole lot is cheap, but id personally shell out the extra coin for something as crucial as the fueling system. A few hundred more now could save you thousands later

Yeah im still on the fence about it fuel and tuning will be later. I plan on running 4-5 psi boost and what i read the stock system can handle it to a certain extent.

I would personally run what youve got until HPtuners supports our 2TR in the next few months. I am anxiously awaiting that to happen.. thats when i plan on upgrading injectors. Do you have an afr gauge? If so and its running good i wouldnt sweat it for now

So you're turboed? I got almost everything and i am about to do it install everything. Ill be running a biost and afr gauge to watch it. I picked up a mapecu3 used for 300 but been getting a lot of pushbacks from tuners here might have to do it myself when i get home. How much boost you running? How do like it? Do pull trailers and such?

I am not turbo'd. I am getting ready to install a rotrex sc on my 2.7 but i have a v6 with the maggy sc too so thats what got me started down the rabbit hole. Basically just been doing a ton of reading and research before i throw boost at it.

heres a little performance thread i threw together for our 4 banger

Yeah i read some of that article i emailed hp tuners still waiting on a reply from them. I was about bite the bullet and get a v6 but mines paid off and i put a bumch of time and money into it and dont really want it to go. I just need more power. Theres limited people that can tune the map ecu 3 and without that im limited on fuel/ boost capabilities. Im going to turbo it and run 5 psi for now until i figure how to tune or hp tuners come out with something.

Look into Fic6 or 8. They can control 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines. I have the 6 on my 5vz and love it.

Oh I didn't know you already had something. I've heard good things about map3, just no experience with it.

Do you have an OBD2 tool to monitor short term fuel trims and long term fuel trims?
