So it's common knowledge that the 3.4 tends to run a bit on the lean side. So through my logic this means we're missing out on power correct? If this is true then does any one have recommendations for bigger injectors?

Well to my understanding yes at mid to high rpm they run lean, some people have done injector upgrades on the 4.0 in the second gens and have made nice gains, and considering the 3.4 is already running lean id assume bigger injectors would fix that. Then again the ECU may cause the leanness. I wanna do a supercharger anyway (not till later this year though) i was just curious as to whether or not you can make similar gains without a s/c on a 3.4. Also would 6 bigger injectors or the 7th injector setup be better?

Umm...no. They don't run lean. They run rich. Unless your spark plug gap is ridiculous, wrong plugs, clogged fuel filter, clogged injectors, or marginal fuel pump.
EMC allows for up to 7 degrees of retard...which is more than enough for a NA engine. Bigger injectors won't do a thing except starve the fuel pump. The injectors are already almost maxed out with the existing pump. That's why anyone who runs a 7th injector or 6 larger injectors has to upgrade pumps.

High Gear/Low RPM leanout happens with boost.

Ok i guess i was incorrect in saying they run lean w/o boost but they definitely do with boost. What im trying to get at is if i was to supercharge a 3.4 what injector setup should i do? 6 biggers ones or just the seventh? six bigger ones seems more reliable but i dont know.

7th if you are using a TRD supercharger and don't have EGR. If you have EGR...you have to do 6 upgraded injectors because the 7th uses the EGR port on the SC.
7th is easier to tune (and cheaper) and the gas is sprayed before the supercharger roots. The fuel is atomized and creates a better seal on the roots.

alright cool thanks for that info XD that s/c is so expensive...I bet a turbo is cheaper yeah? I wander if you could make the 7th injector work on a turbo setup...

Can't really speak to price since TRD discontinued the SC's. Gonna be paying a premium as time goes on.
I picked mine up brand new, still in the box with plastic on CL for $1600.
And yes there are guys that have done a 7th with turbo setups. Custom Tacos is definitely more tuner oriented if you want to research it.
