I'm looking at some 255/75/17's, is anyone running these? I have a 2016 ORDC 4X4 , stock tires are 265/70/16. My questions are, is there any rubbing , how much does it affect gas mileage and how do they wear?

Should have any rubbing since they are only 32" tires and are more narrow than stock.

Shouldnt have any rubbing on 3rd gens.

I run that size on my 2nd gen.
Had to trim a little bit but nothing major.

No effects on mpg's that I noticed.

Couldnt comment on how they will wear.

    For $450 who care.

Are you planning on switching to 17" wheels?

Yes, I have a set of 2017 Sport Wheels. I was planning on a small lift and bigger tires but I spent my money on a couple of Glocks , a SR15 Ruger and a binary trigger .

Put some 255/75/17 on my sport to check for clearances. I am getting a OR next week so wanted to be sure. Put them on 17x8.5 -6 ultra rims. I think the poke is perfect, and there is zero rubbing. The mud terrains are loud as f@&#, but coming from the streets that were on there it's to be expected.

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
Stock suspension with pro sema wheels and 255/75/17 bfg's. No rubbing at all, no loss in power or mpg. They're great minus the mud tire noise.

I had the original BFG KO's on my truck last winter in snow I couldn't complain on ice that's a different story if I parked on ice I had to get a push or tow off the ice last year I almost took my truck to the junk yard to have it crushed because my 4x4 system would freeze and never work and at my work the parking lot was a gravel and would freeze over I could never get out

I had 265/75/16 BFG MT/R's, incredibly god damn loud on pavement, but not terrible off-road.

I had km2s a while back and they were great. I'll get them again unless another better tire comes out before I have to replace the wranglers on my truck

Brother had a pair of 37" Cooper STT on his Tundra wore out less than 20k miles. It was actually really sad how fast they wore and he rotated every 2k miles. His Nitto grappers 35" lasted at least 30k and those are soft tires.
