BFG KO2's with black sidewall/lettering

I see lots of members running the popular BFG KO2 tires in various size and some appear to have white sidewall lettering while others are black. Is color of lettering an option on these tires? I only came across ko2's with white lettering from larger online wholesalers.

Any input is appreciated

 

One side of the tire has white lettering and the other has black letters. Just depends on what they wanted showing when they mount them on the wheel.

 

The white lettering is only on one side. You can mount the white lettering in if you don't like it. I prefer white out myself. It really makes the tires pop. Some select sizes are available in black sidewall only I believe.

 

I have the black letters out, but the white are on the inside.

The tires are not directional. You do not want a directional off road tire.

The KO2s are the best all purpose tire in my opinion. If you haven't seen the improvements over the original KOs:

I've used them on pavement, gravel, dirt, rocks and in the rain. No complaints so far.

 

I've got original ko's and like them a lot. As far as I know the only difference in the ko2 is the tread on the sidewall. Most common complaint I've seen on here is from people who have to drive in snow.

 

None really. They really are one of the best AT tires around. Just watch the weight between the c rated and e rated tire. MPG will play a factor.

They also have more tread void than the KOs. I hated the KOs off road and will not buy them again, so much so I was reluctant to buy the KO2. The KO2 is a much better tire and I've been very happy with them.

As mentioned above be sure to get the C-load tire, not the super heavy poor riding E loads.

Thanks... is alignment needed if I swap out the stock dunlops for these?

 

You only need an alignment for suspension changes. No need for swapping wheels/tires.
