So Toyota is phasing out the Quicksand color for 2021... What would be the best way to find/get a new 2020 quicksand. I've called all the dealers in my area (Upstate NY) and have not been able to find any.

Have you been to the Toyota website and built one?
If you build one, it gives you an option to request a quote?

Cars.com will let you search new inventory and sort by color. The ads may not be 100% accurate and you’ll have to call to be sure. I’m seeing 7 new 2019/2020 listed as beige and another 47 as other within 500 miles of Buffalo.

Seriously- I just went on cars.com and did a search- just “Advance search” with Toyota Tacoma beige with your zip code and start contacting dealerships for a 2020.

Quicksand is a really fine color choice imo- hope you get one.

what's wrong with a used one? You get the same quality but don't pay nearly as much. My '17 has only 45k, these things don't break till well over 300k, plus I got mine through a yota dealer so thoroughly checked out, two keyfobs, and still has powertrain warranty. 40k brand new, I got it 3 years old for 27k in perfect shape

Not the case nowadays. Used Tacoma prices are very overinflated.

mine new is 40k, my 3 year old was like 28k from a yota dealer and in perfect condition, factory powertrain warranty till 60k, two fobs, yota verified/certified or whatever they call it. 42,000 miles on it too. If a used one was like...37k+ I wouldn't but 28k, 3 years old, etc etc...way cheaper

You'll probably need to order what trim and color quicksand tacoma you want like i did when having the same issue in jan 2020. I must of spent a couple weeks checking dealers as you did, plus having them look before ordering.

For the most part yes but if you look you can get a good deal. I bought a used TRD OR 2018 with 14k miles for 31k. I did have to buy out of state to get what I wanted in the right price.

In your case thats another way to get a better deal as long as the truck you want is readily available. Its when you do a certain order it becomes a real pita to negotiate with these dealers on price. I also went out of state for my truck, basically had to...local small dealers here were reluctant to even do an order let alone deal on any discounted price. They just kept pushing hard for me to buy off their lot, or get a truck kind of similar from another dealer they work with.

Alright thanks for your replies guys, I did find some listed as in stock on the dealer website with the cars.com site(out of state though) so I reached out to them. Also keeping my eyes peeled on the used car sites. Hopefully will update with good news
