Just ordered a 3 inch lift from toytec . I also picked up a carrier bearing drop as well to help with driveshaft vibration and putting the driveshaft at a better angle.

After looking into it I should probably get aftermarket upper control arms for best castor, and a proper alignment. Not totally sure what upper control arms I should get. Looking at Total Chaos UCA, JBA UCA, and SPC UCA. Anyone got any recommendations and also is there anything I would need to have a proper alignment and have a good driveable rig?

    What are your wheel specs?

Might need wheel spacers to clear the UCA if not enough backspace.

Do you already have that setup running?

Surprise no rubbing with that thickness of wheel spacers and that offset.

It rubs pretty good hence the idea for a lift. But that is currently what I’m running only had the setup for a week now and only driven it like 4 times. Rubs in the mudflap and the front bumper. Removed the mudflap on one side and then cut a small part of the fender to clear to tire but even then it almost rubs over bumps turning.

Try dropping the wheel spacers. Thats huge and would induce rubbing on most anything.

I have JBA uca and and am very happy with them. Got 4.5 caster and truck tracks really straight and no more rubbing on 285/75/17s 17x8.5 0 offset plus .75" boras.. CMC done.

Yeah I was thinking about taking off the spacers soon for the long run as they do rub and aren’t great for ball joints and wheel bearings. Good to know though leaning towards the jba. Good to know the jba allow for alignment to be in good spec. Yeah that’s larger tire then I have so yeah I really shouldn’t be rubbing. Yeah I wonder if I’ll have to do a cmc. Guess I’ll see when the lift comes in. Thanks for the input that gets me a good idea of how it would work out

Update dropped the wheel spacers yesterday and removed the mudflaps and I have no rub. Only rubs when I go over medium-sized bumps. Thanks for the suggestion.
