Oh man I wish I saw these before I bought the SPC. I have no problem with the SPCs but damn those are nice with the adjustable caster and camber like the SPCs have. And they look REALLY nice too.

That seems like the factor to consider...adjustability

Everything else is "my red Nike Air Force 1 shoes are way better than your blue Air Force 1's"
otherwise, welded steel, greasable joints, and headache free bushings seem like good things and a minimum starting point to even consider an arm. The only criteria beyond that being, is it adjustable or not
(except for SPC since everyone says they fail)

IDK the point of billet and the cost associated with it over simply hollow steel welded. Steel is strong and that's what everything else gets anyway, like spindle gussets.

So, do you really NEED UCA adjustability,
because I've got LCA pivots, matching UCA's
    non adustable
pretty sure my alignment is good and matches what specs they recommend
and there's not much rubbing in the back, that should be fixed with a CMR. That basically you need no matter what on bigger tires and is not a big deal.
Or I play with my alignment more.

This setup has pushed the tires forward (which is the point),
I've had to cut my ARB bumper already which, to fault the ARB bumper, it's not a high clearance big tire bumper like everything else.
So I'm not sure if there even is any benefit to adjustability...

I'm trying to avoid the CMR and just work with an aggressive CMC. Reasoning, I'm not trusting myself to lineup the mounts and it's easy enough to cut, grind out, then grind a filler plate to fit and tack on. With the caster added from the JBAs or adjustment the SPCs provide; I thiiiiiiiiink fitting 285s(with respective wheel size because that also matters) and get lock to lock action with slim to no rub will work on my daily truck. That's my plan at least.

I ran a 285 on a +1 wheel with 2ish" lift upfront spc's and my dirt kings caster set to 4.5 if I recall right had rokbloks mud flaps and had virtually no rub without a cmc and that saw a fair amount of trail km. With the new set up cmc was necessary.
So I would send it before the chop might get lucky

Interesting to hear that, didn't know about that when I had Dobinsons fitted just this week to my truck, I was mainly focused on them being robust for maintenance and using more available components. That would explain why the shop I had fit my suspension said they'd be a great choice for being able to run 33s on my truck without having to mess around with trimming or cutting stuff in the wheel well.

Sadly I went the SPC route and now dealing with appears to be bad ball joints. SPC is willing to warranty them but I think I might just go back to stock

The Dobinson's ones look very nice. I had never heard of them before this thread but that is the brand I am leaning towards now.

Fun fact, I’ve been riding on the icons still, I just ordered oem LCA and will be changing everything over.

There for a while I was trying to buy a newer full size truck (Raptor or tundra) but decided to keep the “no payment” shit going so I can save up some money for other things.

I went with an option not many people seem to talk about on here. No idea how they perform yet because I haven't got the gumption to go sweat it out in this heat but, they look sexy and build quality seems high.

No monthly payment is one of the many joys in life. Did you replace the ball joints on the icons

We LOVE the OMEs at The Taco Garage, They are not the fanciest looking or the most adjustable, but they are very good quality and require basically zero maintenance, and when they do, grease fitting is securely stored under the ball joint cap. We have been selling / Installing these for about 3-4 years with ZERO issues so far. No warranty claims no noise BS like with every other UCA that uses uniballs.
There are better UCA's out there but not for that price.

    BTW...
Dirt King just recently re designed their Tacoma UCAs (a little more fancy than OME) and has now moved to the same type of bushing as the OMEs, This really helps cut down on noise / maintenance. Definitely worth considering too.

    As long as they
What do you mean by not the most adjustable? Do they have built in caster. Looking to dump my SPC as long as my next uca have the ability for a close to factory alignment.

Great to hear good feedback on them. I have them sitting here in my office waiting for me to install - I know my stocks are tired af. I've had uniball headaches on other vehicles, I was not interested in any of that for the taco. My 885 springs have been great so...OME seemed like a good call.

What lift height are you sitting at and what tire are you trying to clear?

I'm running the eibach stage 1 set at 2nd notch which is about 2.5 lift and I have 33's. I'm no expert but I think I can pull off a proper alignment with stock arms like you mentioned even if I get my BJ warrantied what if 15k miles from now they give out again and nope not going to be chasing warranties. I'm looking for something a little bit more budget friendly. And something that's easier for techs to work on alignment most shops see the SPC and run.

I'm at around 2.5" lift (on top of 4" spindles) running 35's since 2017 and I've had stocks the whole time with no alignment problems.
