What’s the most versatile UCA? I plan to build my truck specifically for over landing but sometimes I like to go fast. Any happy medium?

Check out JD Fab. they use tundra OEM bushings and a rebuildable uniball. solid construction

Nothing in your post suggests you need aftermarket UCAs. Can you elaborate?

I go fast and “overland” with my stock UCAs.

    Anything but SPC,
I'm personally on dirt kings but lots of guys out here are fans of dobinsons but they cost a pretty penny.

Mine lasted 8k that resulted in dead x axis joints and ball joints. Multiple other buddies have had the same experience. They said there was a bad batch of x axis that went out but we are seeing it from third gen runners to tacomas with entirely different batch numbers stamped. They warrantied mine just fine but I'm not going to chase warranty and alignments every few months potentially.
On the flip side my dirt kings have even on for over a year now with 0 problems around 35k on them

Dobinsons are also of similar design to OEM, and some of the joint parts are commonly available components that can be more easily sourced than a lot of LCA parts.

    JBAs have been great.

    1. SPC
    2. JBA
    3. ICON with delta joint

SPC for sure if you are going 33" or bigger tires. They are fully adjustable so you can dial in your alignment and gain tire clearance. SPC has likely been around longer than any of these off road companies. They make arms for tons of classic cars and such.

I would avoid Camburg, TC or any that have solid poly bushings. They often squeak and it's super annoying. I've lifted over 100 Tacomas/4runners. I've installed them all.

I've been running the Icon tubular UCA's with the delta joint for 2yrs now. Over 30,000mi on them and they have been, and are perfect.
