I have a 2014 Sequoia and we love this SUV! It’s overkill unless you want something huge inside, capable in all weather and many roads, and need towing. We’ve put it through its paces and have never had any maintenance issue. When we tow, it growls along. The back area is huuuuge, and that is another great feature we use and it’s good for dogs. And the 3rd row seats are pretty good.

we just got back from the sand dunes National park and this beast turned out torque all the way. And it’s 19’ long fits in my garage and smaller camp sites

 

3rd Gen Sequoia and current LX are 2-3 year waits.

I'd suggest a highlander all day over a 2nd gen Sequoia. Nearly same space, decent towing capacity and way better cost of ownership.

A Highlander is a car that a lot of women drive because they don’t want to drive a minivan. If you want to keep your man card, look elsewhere.
