I just had Bilstein 5100 2/1 leveling kit installed. Currently running the stock TRD pro 16in wheels and tires along with 1.25” wheel spacers. I have seen so many threads on various options but could not find anything related to my particular setup. What is the best tire size options to upgrade to?

Depends on what you use the truck for…

I’ve been running 265/75/16’s for a few years and it’s extremely practical. I think they look a little small but they have never gotten me stuck and my MPGs don’t suffer as much.

I put 285/75/16’s on at one point but got rid of them because of the negative effects on braking, acceleration and MPGs. Those were mud tires though. A 33” all terrain probably wouldn’t be quite as bad.

The 32" 265/75/16 Duratracs look great under the 2" Lift. It's a shame Duratracs don't come in a 33" 255/85/16 or 255/80/17. They've been great in the sand, mud & especially snow. (They have the 3 peak snow designation, but they are not the best ice tire)

On road, they are the most aggressive A/T, so they perform closer to what a M/T tire would on the street. Not as loud, but not as quiet as a street tire.

I will be replacing them with 33" 255/80/17 Wildpeak AT3's on Black Friday!

Well if you don't want to deal with any potential rubbing of the cab mount, your largest options are 265/75 or 255/85. I think 255s look better, but will likely cost you more at the pump. 255s also ride a bit different on the road, I definitely noticed a little less, we'll say confidence, cornering on pizza cutters.

    You be the judge:

I just put the same kit on my truck. But I've got the sport with stock 17's. I'm still running the stock 265/65R17's and obviously they look tiny. I plan on doing new wheels too, and will most likely stay 17". I'm debating between the 265/70R17's or going 275's with 7" Sema wheels with a +4 offset. I'm in the same boat, trying to go as big as possible with as little sacrifice to gas mileage and acceleration as possible. I also dont want to encounter rubbing issues and need to cut a lot of stuff, especially metal. I'm not sure if 275's are available in 16" rim sizes.

265/75/16 or 265/70/17 depending on wheel size. The overall dimension on those 2 are nearly identical. They will also work with no lift most of the time. Just big enough to look and perform a bit better than stock with no real downsides. In fact, those sizes are often less expensive than stock.

Any bigger and you start to see some negatives that aren't worth the trouble to me.

I also will mention that my speedometer was incorrect with the tires that came on the truck (245/75/16). When I changed to 265/75/16 the speedometer became 100% accurate.

I know this is true for most Tacomas but not sure if it’s all of them.
