Be careful with black. Black can be easily scratched.

What is your goal in applying a "spray wax?" Are you looking for protection, gloss, water beading, etc.? (Don't say "all of the above" because you're not going to get them all with a simple spray wax.)

And I should note that "wax" is a pretty obsolete term and product these days. There are far better products (synthetic sealants, ceramic coatings, etc.) that have pretty well replaced simple carnauba waxes of days gone by.

Getting back to black paint, remember that black is a very sexy color - that requires a good deal of care to keep it looking good. Take care of it correctly and it will look sexy for a long time. Mess up just once and you're looking at a pretty decent bill to correct it. And no "spray on / wipe off" product is going to prevent or correct that damage.

Ugh!!! Black what were you thinking?! First when taken care black looks incredible but man it’s a pain in the ass that’s for sure. Any of the Griots products are great. So many choices and brands. But as @Too Stroked mentioned you need to decide what your desire is as to protection, high gloss, water beading etc.

Sorry to hear about your wife bud that’s sad. Black is very time consuming but sexy as hell clean!
I used turtle wax black box kit on my 08 black sand pearl but she had a few scuffs already. The black in the wax hid some of the marks.

Spray it on, rinse it off. Lasts for many washes.

Try the 303 Graphene spray coating. Works great on my silver paint.

This is a great product, but read the label. It has a very specific application and maintenance process. It also has a complimentary quick detailer spray in a green bottle that goes with it.

The Turtle Wax Hybrid solutions options are also great and affordable.

That's what I use. Super easy to apply and can last up to a year if you coat your truck twice. Just make sure you wait 24 hours between the first application and second application.

Thats what I've been using, work OK. durability seems to last 1-3 months depending on local conditions, Maybe 4 months with a double coat. Average seems about 2 months for me. The stuff streaks something mighty if you use to much though.

Yeah, that's why the instruction says to use 1 or 2 sprays per panel. Too much and it'll streak because a little goes a long way with this product. You can't see the streaks on white, so it's perfect for me. lol

Lol thats great, they really stand out on my grey. I am a serial over-applicator, but i'm working on myself lmfao. I have found it useful to use 2 microfibers for application because if one become even slightly saturated it starts streaking badly. still a very decent product

Griot's Garage Ceramic Spray wax. I hate spraying panels, the overspray just kills me. I spray a microfibre wax applicator pad, to wet/damp, then apply to the panel, in a cross hatch pattern, for complete coverage. then buff off with their edgeless plush microfibre polishing towels. using their Ceramic Speedshine, and Ceramic Soap, it keeps the protection tip top, and ready to bead water at any time. lasts about a year for me, before needing to recoat it. works amazing on the RV too! There is absolutely no way it will last a year. I use this stuff and like it and I park in a garage in SoCal. I give it two months or so before I notice its not quite as good as the day I applied. That also will be affected by how often you wash it. You wash once a week it def wears off faster. I wash once a month or every few weeks.
