Through a series of event's that I'd rather not mention... I ended up having to use an over the counter PS pump for my 3.4L. Didn't take more than a month for it to be screaming like a banshee.

Anyway.. Ok. Who's the best source for an OEM pump that's not five hundred bucks??
I've seen Yotashops pumps for $460 and that just seems crazy.. Saw these guys that say they're OEM but I don't know if I can trust that..
    https://toyotaparts.mcgeorgetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-power-steering-pump-4432004052
A local dealer quoted $550 which is fucking crazy to me..

    Anyway.. thoughts???

Some Local dealers are great others suck .

I think for New buy that pump From McGeorge your not likely to do better

    Go used an option??

Part outs on here. You can message just not post yet.

    Local yards

Why did your Original pump Fail ?

Did you use it for a core ?

They are not that hard to rebuild not sure if that is possible for you.

I fucked up and used my OE pump as a core. I should have just rebuilt it but was pressed for time. I'm really kicking myself at this point for having done so. Was trying to make it out the door for deer/elk season with no time left. Its totally on me.

If I can find one used and (OE) just rebuild it, that definitely seems the best course.

I would do the mcgeorge one myself......
.....however a 'WTB' on these classifieds will probably get you some bites......
might even luck out and find a new one never got installed...

If you’re on Facebook there’s a fella that goes by the name “joe joe” on all the Toyota pages that sells OEM parts for decent prices. He’s got a very large following so he must be legit.

Mcgeorge is a legit source, it's a dealership. They often have the best prices on OEM parts.

My luck is so good if I offered up my spare the one on the truck would explode the next day after the spare shipped.

Im thinking at this point I'll either go with Mcgeorge or buy an OE pump through ebay and rebuild it. Havent quite decided which yet. Thanks for everyone's responses btw.

    *Edit
Went with new from Mcgeorge. Will get a rebuild kit to put on the shelf too.

That's what I did on my master cylinder.....think twice before giving up any old oem part to collect some small core charge....

unless its radiator, starter, or alternator,......these denso's are less than stellar products(weak)......high failure rate despite premium prices.....

No mention on a magnifire 3/8 inline filter to the return. You would be so surprised when you cut one open

I added one once my rack was shot and it was used to pick anything up I couldn't clean out.

Do you mind saying what it cost you? And did it have the reservoir or just the pump?
