Stock suspension except for removed front swaybar and blue sumosprings in the rear, super bumps bumpstop replacement in front. Basically stock weight and not looking to lift.

I don't mind spending good money, don't mind the feel of no front swaybar. What are the best shocks for middle to large road surface imperfections for ride quality? Stock shocks feel fine for most things most of the time, just wish they would handle the medium/large stuff better.

Is this just a no brainer bilstein 4600's thing?

4600s which are essentially oem TRD OR shocks won't do it. For best, you need more shock travel and more progressive damping (i.e. bypasses) to prevent bottoming out, along with flimsy rear leafs like Deaver J66s (maybe) and cushy bumpstops or hydrobumps. You will also need to have someone tune the shocks to be really plush (no out of the box shock will come that way). Maybe Bilstein 8100s or OME BP51s could be made to be cushy enough out of the box without needing to swap shim stacks.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I think you would be very happy with Bilstein 6112s
