if it fits a 2nd Gen chances are good it will fit a 3rd Gen. Or the company has newer models already.

“Best” is relative, find one close to you and save on shipping.

 

Sliders are commoditized. they are pretty much all the same. Run a search as this has been asked numerous times.

 

I haven’t purchased but c4 is free shipping and seem to install nicely on youtube

 

Wish that were possible. Around here the only "fabricators" with any time are the meth heads.

 

I'll give a second vote for the CBI Bolt on Trail Sliders. Install wasn't bad. Would have been easier with help.

 

WarFab Armor makes the strongest ones.

 

Depends on what you mean by strongest. Any .120 wall will dent and bend, and any thicker tube and you will just be twisting the frame. Sliders are a wear item in the end.

I do love mine though, most sliders actually dont protect the whole length of the under side (cali raised and some others) and the Warfabs truly run tire to tire. I put them through the most amount of abuse almost all 3rd gens will ever see without breaking in half, and held up great.

 

I got a set of these a while back.
