What are your recommendations for a good set of extended brake lines? I saw the Wheeler's ones that looked decent but I don't know enough about the construction to know if they're good lines. What brands have you gone with?

I had Wheeler's lines in my previous truck. The front lines aren't long enough when paired with extended-travel coilovers. At full steering lock, the black strain relief boot sees a lot of bending. After a few years, the boot has split. Other aspects of the lines are OK, no issues with leaks or abrasion.

This time around I got All-Pro / Trail Gear brake lines. Build quality is just as good as the Wheeler's lines but the front ones are longer. The bigger 6-sided wrench flats may come in handy in a few years.

Good to know about the Wheelers lines. I'll stay away from those then. I saw they were only an inch longer than stock in the front.

Pro-tip: The Dorman clips that come with the All-Pro / Trail Gear lines are too tight. I reused the OEM clips since my truck was only 4 months old at the time. In your case I recommend having new Toyota clips ordered before the install. The OEM clips are fairly corrosion-resistant, but 13 years are 13 years.

Just an FYI Crown makes them for HS (where I got my set) and other online retailers that are just rebranded. I since got a custom set directly from crown made for my rear set up to the exact length I wanted. Great customer service.

Just running whatever over HS sells. Went to 30" rear lines chevy 63 swap and 14" shocks. I can completely cycle the 14s going longer soon.

That's why I got mine in red. You can buy them by the set or order custom lengths

Yeah extended travel. I might even go with one of the extra long +6 or +7 since it's only $5 more. I figure it will be added protection when working on the truck if the spindle is loose and I forget to tie it off.
