best place to tap into dome light?

    what is the best place to tap into the dome light? I want to add light that will come on with some light
    thanks

    Anyone? I'd like to know to....I would imagine that you could tap into the hot at the light but i wanna run puddle lights under each door.....does the dome light hot come up the pilar ?

    You can tap into it from the fuse box. I don't recommend 'tapping' into existing wires for 12v, but run your own 12v power and use the dome light fuse for the relay. Its more work and costs more, but its the safer and correct way to do it.
