I’m looking at getting a full kit for my Tacoma. Ideally order it all from one place, but can part it out as well.

I’m wanting to go with a 2-2.5inch lift with replacement coilovers, AAL or new leaf pack, +/- UCA, +/- ECGS Bushing, +/- bump stops.

Most interested in Bilstein, OME, dobinson, but am open to other manufacturers at the moment.

looking for reliable customer service, preferably a company that supports the tacomaworld site.

Any suggestions? Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn’t find anything recent.

    TIA!

@memario1214 at Hotshot Offroad is who I would go to. He can run through what they do and don't stock, and he's an upstanding dude.

I would like a taller ride for on-road and occasional off-road purposes. No hardcore off-roading. I would like to go up in wheel/tire size and prefer a taller stance for visibility while driving. Plus I think lifted tacos look cool!

I’ll second @AccuTune Offroad. I was in a similar position a few months back, looking for a one stop shop. I went with Accutune because they tune the shocks to your liking and their kits pretty much had everything needed.

@AccuTune Offroad suggestion is great as they are very responsive and aim to help people out (whether they're existing customers or not)

Thing is, you're wanting budget-friendly suspension so unless I'm wrong, they only sell premium shocks

I vote going to the vendor section as you'll see who's an official vendor of TW or not

Headstrong had horrible customer service when I attempted to spend money with them, not sure if it's gotten better or worse but take it for what it's worth

Going from a 1/2 ton standard ride height (no lift) truck for the last 10 years to the taco leaves road visibility to be desired as my daily driver. So that and it looks awesome.

Crucify me if I prefer the looks of a lifted truck…

good point, I have never driven a lifted truck. Is it that bad? Even with a 2 inch lift?

That's not what he's saying. He's cracking a joke that you could steal a lift off a truck you test drive. You will likely want research the taco and what needs to be done to fit whatever lift you want.

Thanks. I believe I have a good understanding of needs for the size lift I am looking for. UCA are needed if you are 2.5inch plus, don’t hurt on a shorter lift. ECGS bushing is a good idea. AAL vs block vs leaf pack for rear. Differential drop not needed less than 3 inch lift. Watch tire/wheel size/offset to make sure I can fit.

Missing anything glaring? I am open to suggestions!

You know more than I do. I'm a filthy stock driver this time around. :anonymous:

I have bought stuff through Hotshot Offroad, and I know the customer service and guidance will be on point.

I went with bilstein 5100’s front and back so it’s more level than lifted but with my at tires and rims it’s gotta good stance.
