I'm located in West LA. and finally decided to pull the trigger on some Icon wheels and K02's plus suspension.

Whats the best place with the best price to have it installed and get a decent price around the los angeles area?

Options I've been thinking are to buy it all online from two different places and it have it shipped to me. wheels/tires from one, and then suspension from another, and then try and install it all my self.

Other option is to find a local socal shop that will give me a deal because i'm getting it all from their shop. and just get it all done at one place.

    Any suggestions?

88Rotors in El Monte sold me my suspension lift, wheels and tires and did the install for a very good deal. They carry pretty much everything from your most basic lift to Kings in stock and most wheels & tires.

If you don't mind me asking, what suspension lift, wheels and tires you get and how much did they charge with install?

    Definitely 88Rotors

They do quality work and are super affordable. I was in and out in an hour for my lift and wheels too.

As far as i can tell, 88 rotors is the higher end of other local shops.
my cousin got quoted 1400+ for rigid 50" light bar when forum vendors had it for far less.
i checked 4 places for cmc and 88 was 50-100 higher than the rest.
after that i just never went back.

Highly sought after so it makes sense that their prices would be higher than some of the other shops in town. Within reasonable pricing suspension and vehicle safety components are not something you want to cut corners on for $50-$100. Some places in the past that I felt were a little high I asked them what the cash price was, or I just brought my own materials and paid them for the install the prevent additional material markup.

If the shop is good at what they do. its cool sure say they do quality work but aren't the cheapest. but everyone is spouting out good deal and affordable. you're sending OP the wrong info.
I always ask the cash price.
A body mount chop is hardly rocket science. i even told him there were other shops giving a better price, i just asked if he could match and i wanted to do it there because i work nearby.

@ShowstoppersUSA is in Glendale, definitely has the best pricing on suspension, wheels, tires, and lighting!

Check out RPM Garage in Monrovia, they can likely order whatever you want and they do great job on installations. They pretty much work exclusively on offroad Toyotas, always a bunch of nice Landcruisers, Tacomas and T4Rs outside their shop. I go there for alignments so I'm sure they can do your wheels and tires

Also the very first time I bought a lift for my truck I took it to Kings Tire and Wheel in Glendale. They charged me just under $300 to install my front/rear shocks, 3 leaf AAL packs and do an alignment (I supplied the parts).

I agree its not rocket science, but it's not t-ball either. Not sure what kind of homework OP has done himself on the topic before peer-sourcing. They might not know the ins and outs like others on asking for cash price etc.

I know lots of people think it's good to find a shop that is extensive and knowledgeable so as your grow in your build the shop can grow with you and you can trust them with the big projects because they have proven themselves on the smaller ones.

Also, probably a little further north from you but had a buddy who went here. Small shop but said the work was legit. Alpha Off Road https://www.alphaoff-road.com/services

Thanks everyone. 88 Rotors, said they will do my 17" Icon wheels with K02's, bilsteins all around and OME coils up front and a add a leaf to the rear for $3400. I guess pricing went up!

I would do like the other guy said. buy your own gear and have them install.

    ^^ this

When you order parts from the shop doing the install chances are they are making some money off those parts as well. Bring them in yourself and just pay for the shop labor instead.

Although, some shops do have a fee for bringing in your own parts. So I've heard, I've never been explicitly told there was one at any of the places I've been.

I used 88Rotors the other day for wheels and tires. They were great on the phone when I first called, and were able to schedule me easily.
Super quick all around. This is after I traded some emails with another shop, where my last email went unanswered after asking about size clarifications. Not saying the other shop was bad, but I really liked how much 88Rotors knew about the products and how fast they got me in and out. Probably more $ than some others, but I am happy with the service.
