My next door neighbor is in a jam. He needs the tensioner nut and bolt for both the power steering pump and the alternator. I've seen several websites posted here on TW for buying used parts. Can someone help me out with a couple.

    thanks in advance

    4 run, 2 don't
    I mean...pretty easy?

Nuts and bolts each brand new shouldn't sell for more than $2-4 bucks each, even from a Toyota dealer.

I wouldn't buy those sorts of parts used.

But if you really had to, ebay, facebook marketplace (cars parted out), KSL, craigslist, pick n pulls, etc.

Napa and a few other stores can get those new parts pretty quickly too.

They are small enough you don't need to "buy" them from the junkyard.

Are the tensioner bolts and nuts completely missing from said neighbor's truck, that they can't be matched up somewhere local?

Thanks for all the reply's I gave him the carparts.com info. There are no Tacoma's or 4-runners in any junkyards around here. I called Pull a Parts in Winston Salem, and they said they haven't seen either vehicle in over 2 years. Would most likely have to go over towards the coast or even out of state.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have been replacing mine that fail with M8 x1.25 all thread and weld on a nut No need to wait for parts.

if i did not have the correct bolts on hand.

It just puts tension on the belt .
