Bilstein 5100’s with ome 881 coils on lowest setting, JBA upper control arms, LCE header, 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeaks.
Any suggestions? My stock set up with 1.25” spacers was way nicer than these bilstein struts and JBA uppers. Considering buying oem replacement struts and putting my spacers back on and my stock uca’s. I don’t do wheeling so it’ll be fine. 98 Tacoma 4x4 2.7L

    Tacoma's don't use struts.

Bilstein 4600's are what you want if going back to stock.

I use my own springs. I have to get new ones. The ome ones I have won’t work with those shocks.

Well you were asking about shocks, so I listed the OEM replacement.

You'll either need new springs from the dealer, used (not my suggestion, but you can find them free), or generic replacements from Moog or someone.

You won't find them sold as a coilover assembly as coils generally last longer than the shocks being replaced.

i just don’t know what length to get. Those 4600 are like 18” extended and 13” collapsed

You do know to just look for coils to match your vehicle right?

Moog and whoever else, will state A, B, and C work with 6 lug Tacoma's.

Then they might even list rates such as 500lb, 600lb, etc. as well as what vehicle type is recommended per spring type

Example 500lb may me be for a Prerunner, because it lacks a front diff and cv axles. This is basic stuff.

    No worries

But some companies offer different spring rates for the same vehicle for that very reason above.

Only thing I can't help with are the different manufacturers that offer OEM type coils for your trucks.

dont wanna lift it that much. Just wanna go back to stock with my 1.25” spacers. Ride was great and I liked the stance.

You don't tell us what kind of engine, body and drivetrain your truck has, and no one is gonna go through your old posts to figure it out. You need to do your own homework on this.

You do know, adjustable coilovers allow you to 'adjust' the preload to give you a lot less lift than what they're set for.

If you only want a 1" lift, you can do that with a variety of 2.5 coilovers.

Just saying, his King's suggestion isn't a bad one.

    Here's a 5100 with a coil on it. 4600 will look identical.

Having a coil spring on or off it is not what makes it a coilover or a strut. It's the upper control arm that makes it a coilover. A strut essentially acts as an upper control arm and the shock/coil combo.

Our trucks have coilovers from the factory.

You can get stock height Kings. But those are also really spendy for just street driving.

If you just want nothing special stock height, the Monroes are fine. Without any accessories, like a steel bumper or a winch, you can just get the pre-assembled units like what was posted above, although I'd buy from an actual auto parts retailer, not Amazon.

You can also just get the shocks, and re-use your current coil springs (assuming they're stock), although they're more than likely worn out anyway.
