What are you guys running? I have bucket seat. Looking for something that fits snug, waterproof and of course looks awesome.

I just got coverkings from Costco. 350 for front and back in my 07dcsb. Real neoprene and seems bomber so far.
Had a pair of wet Okole on an old truck, they lasted 15 years and still going when sold.

    Its been moved.

Wet Okole is generally the favorite for seat covers around here.

Love my Wet Okele's, they've got a great fit and have held up amazingly well to a ton of use. Definitely way higher quality than the Coverkings that I put into my 4Runner (though, to be fair, they were twice the cost).

Wrote up the installation here with a bunch of pics.

This, but they are pricey, too.

I almost wet this route, but decided to get a plate bumper instead, lol.

@Zerofear66 with the with Okele's, you can go to their website and they have a bunch of pre-made logos you can have put on the seats. You can do fully custom ones too. There is a thread here (somewhere) that has all the images and codes that you use for the logos when ordering.

Wet Okole is the deal. I absolutely love mine and they can take a beating.

Yeah the price is ridiculous. Unless you have a huge need, not really worth it.

I didn't fork over the cash for wet okole's until the driver side seat starting showing signs of the fabric wearing off. I got them during a TW group buy (look in the group buy section). It was only a matter of time before it totally ripped so I went ahead and got some. Glad I did, they are pretty nice. People have asked me if I got whole new seats.

When installing them how did you deal with the carpeted plastic section on the OEM cover that attaches under the seat? I cannot figure out how to velcro fasten the back of the front seat to itself with this in the way. Thanks

I always wondered about the Okoles' COMFORT. I mean they're neoprene-do they make ya sweat on warm/hot days? Or are they breathable despite being neoprene?
I bought these gorgeous covers from Toyota years ago

but returned them a few days later because they were awfully uncomfortable. And my back was damp with sweat within an hour.
So now I have these fugly Costco sheepskins that started out a dark charcoal but now, 7 years later, are a puke-grey.

So it's a hell of a quandary here-afraid to make a move to Okoles or what ever.
Please-guys who have those Okoles-let me in on this!

So do the neoprene covers make you sweat or not? Also, my experience with neoprene is that it has a strong, somewhat skunk-like odor, but my experience is over 60 years ago. Do these neoprene covers smell bad?

They will make you sweat. They don't stink. They last a long time. Mine are over 10 years old. And are really starting to show there age. But they we also subjected to the AZ sun.

I've seen people install Wet Okoles on a new truck to keep the original cloth seat covers in like new condition for the long haul. I have good seat original seat covers on my 99. I might get some Wet Okoles to preserve the originals. In June, I am taking it to an auto trim shop to get them to add foam or whatever it needs to put more support under the driver seat. I have 60/40 seats.

Did you guys install your Wet Okoles or have them installed by a trim shop?

This thread brings back memories of the clear plastic seat covers from the 1950s and early 1960s. My parents would buy a new car and within a month or two get some clear plastic covers installed. The last ones they did that with were from Fingerhut that had some type of waffle design instead of the slick clear. I remember having to sit on a beach towel in the summer to keep from burning up and sticking to the clear plastic.

    Blast from the past.
