What makes this “the best insulated RTT” vs any other tent with a removable insulating liner? Looks no different in the limited amount of pics and that website is pretty lacking in info…

 

Easy to deploy (pops straight up), insulation is no joke unlike the competition, also the mattress that comes with it is more comfortable than any other tent I've seen come with.

 

Doesn't really set it apart from every other pop top tent. No meaningful details on the website about the construction, no materials list, like 6 photos. Pictures that are there look... suspect.

Not trying to heckle but this looks alot worse than name brands like alucab, cvt, 23 zero and james beard.

You can get the same style tent with more features for 1500$ less from cvt

 

I like the look and the insolation is nice, if I was in the market, I would look at it, except there is still one problem that all the others have, it doesn't protect me at all trying to get into it when its raining. Tell your buddy it needs a really nice rain fly or annex to let someone get out of the rain, remove the wet cloths and muddy boots before getting in the tent.

Here's their original model RTT. It fits a California king mattress and is so cozy and insulated. It's very big, but fits perfectly on the roof of a Lexus SUV, 4 runner, land cruiser, sequoia, and even full size pick ups.

The newer model in the original posting is a slightly smaller package and will fit perfectly on a mid size pick up such as the Tacoma, or even those looking to save room on their roof
