    If you want serious protection, check out Lamin-X. It's basically a PPF for headlights. Been using it on my cars for 20 years now. Protects from chips, bugs, UV damage, etc. And it can be replaced when it gets too beat up.
    Or, when you're ready to sell the vehicle you can peel it off to reveal practically new headlights.
    But it's pricey.

    I saw a youtube vid on the restoration kits and why they don't last, because you have to apply a uv protectant clear coat and no one does...seems that would be the best thing after a good scrubbing, then wax on top of that. now what clear coat for plastic also has uv protectant...I have no clue
