I just wanted to share this grease gun I purchased. It's the best grease gun I have ever used! It's expensive but well worth it! No more oil drips and greasy gun laying around my shop!

Great until it doesn’t fit in to where you need. Then you’re back to old school.

I think you miss the point the gun itself! Not the hose or the tip. They come with different tips!
This video shows the levertype of grease gun but they make the pistol style also!

Interesting... locking on to the zerk definitely has an advantage.

For something I use so little i'll just stick with my Lincoln. I mean fuck these trucks only have two grease zerks now so no point in going out and buying a new grease gun so your neighbor Bob can be impressed, but Bob has one upped you because he has a Dewalt electric grease gun and a Bobcat S570 to push his snow.

I do like that coupler, that is always my biggest bitch is I need one hand to hold coupler on zerk and other to pump. Easier said than done sometimes.

I've got the heavy duty Lincoln pistol grip with the regular tip on it. It pops on to the grease fitting and wont come off untill you pull the tip at an angle , then it pops right off. Best grease gun I've ever used.

Bobs have all the best stuff, and are pretty cool. I know one with a RV bigger than half my house, a bunch of offroad toys and trucks all fitted with the best hardware money can buy, and a personality that pleases everyone.

I'm no greasing expert, but if the grease pressure is building up, I'd rather it leak out, than create 8000 psi of pressure, inside a clogged system.

It's fine if it's just the zerk that's plugged, but what if the plug, like their test rig, isn't the zerk, but rather deeper in the system? Now you have 8000 psi pushing on a seal. This would be bad... right?

That's a common way for our tower crane bearings to fail. People won't grease the crane, the grease gets dry and hard, the bearing starts to make a little noise so they try shoving a bunch of grease in there and it just explodes all the dry nasty stuff into the bearing race.
