    What's the best edge trim?
I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on any from Amazon; there's just so many, they all have decent reviews, but some look ugly
Worst case scenario maybe I'll go ahead and pick one, but thought I'd ask here first
since it's popular and I assume lots of people have used it
    -high clearance bumper cuts
    -trimming fenders
    -etc

In a pinch, after doing an HC rear bumper cut, I stopped by Autozone. This is all they had. The regular car version was out of stock.
This truck version simply protrudes longer after it wraps around/extends further.
At first, I thought that would be a good thing and help it be more secure. I noticed the glue/adhesive is really only inside the valley part, not on the rest of it.

But every now and again, it keeps falling off in the wind, and doesn't feel that secure. So I am searching for a better one to re-do it.

Maybe their car one works better

how'd you find out 5/32" is the best version?

    they also have 1/16", 3/32", 1/8"

I honestly haven't measured the metal thickness

take yourself a caliper and measure the fender thickness.

measured the cut metal at high clearance rear bumper to be 1.2mm thick / 0.05"
    which is about 1/20"

closest thing I can find in Trim-Lok is "Fits 1/16 Edge", so it's close but a little larger
is 1/64" better in that case due to being smaller/tighter?
maybe it can stretch/bend/conform to the fender especially if installing with silicone or soapy water + firm hand pressure as opposed to being a bit too big/loose and falling off over time

Does everybody add edge trim to the plastic flare after trimming? I was going to get some for the fenders but wasn’t sure about the flare. The top of flare already has black gasket thing so wasnt sure if it would be too much or even needed
