Hey guys, first post on here. I have two Kicker l7s solo baric 12's. They're in separate boxes with port/sub facing up, the slant of the box allows it to face a little tilted towards the front seat. Couldn't find really any posts about a custom box for 2 separate subs, or 1 box for both subs. If anybody had some leads or dimensions to a good custom box, please post to this thread.

Bro there are a ton of options for subs enclosures. Some of the vendors here can make you a box, @Mr Marv would be someone i suggest. He is a cabinet maker by trade and makes nice speaker enclosures. There are plenty of prefab boxes out there online also.

The back wall has a support that runs the entire length of the wall right in the middle so that limits the magnet size. You just have to be careful of the mount depth and air space for the subs. I dont think that you can get enough airspace and a port big enough out of an enclosure behind the rear double cab seats. Your best bet would be to rip out the seats and use that space to mount your enclosure.

    DIY....
You can order a box for 10s and then cut larger 12" squares for the solo baric.

Also im not sure of the magnet size but you could also seal off the back wall with fiberglass and then make a custom fiberglass enclosure for the L7s. This maybe the only option for you to mount them behind double cab seats as the fiberglass is much thinner than 3/4" MDF and would give you more magnet space and air space in the enclosure.

I was able to get a 10" L5 solo baric behind the rear passenger seat, but the enclosure was too small so i ended up giving the sub and amp to my brother and went with something completely new.

Right now they're just sitting face up behind both seats

+1 for Mr. Marv. These are gonna be big, significant enclosures at just under 2 cubic feet each before a vent...which will need to be large to justify a ported enclosure. But that's what Kicker recommends which is probably on the small side (manufacturers usually recommend enclosures smaller than optimal). They don't provide ample T/S parameters to model the subs.

haha. can you remove the rear driver seat bottom and stand the box up on its side? ive seen this done before, if you are concerned about having rear seat space...

here are the specs for your sub, it needs at least 1.25 cubic ft of air space that maybe doable but you will probably play with the seat backs to allow a bit more space.
