They do have, but their still sort of baggy fitting vs others i've seen. I bought my carhartts from covercraft....took about a month from the time i placed the order. Really can't complain about the quality of the material...its outstanding compared to the cloth seat covers from coverking a buddy had.

I picked up some front seat covers and a dash protector from Escape Gear out of S Africa. Good pricing, fast shipping, amazing build quality and a great fit. The Charcoal in poly cotton canvas are durable as hell, easy to clean off, and match the interior of my 22 OR really well. The covers (seats and dash) are built for air bag compatablity as well.

Really nice. Saw some reviews on these and a lot of South African overlanders use these on their landcruisers. They look really durable and the dash cover looks like it would be very useful with the pockets for storing loose items that you’d want to keep within close proximity to the driver and passenger. I’m sold. I fish a lot and have my bird dog in the truck with me daily so these look like exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for posting. 44667F52-8002-4C82-8C26-66F7A7E82837.jpg

I hated the OEM seats as the whole dang truck inside was BLACK! TOO DARK for me! So after searching around and doing homework, I decided upon the Cover King. I made a video of installation. It has now been almost 3 years and the seatcovers still look like they were just installed with no wrinkles. They look like OEM seats. Here is my video:

I got the Covercraft Endura Precisionfit covers installed in the front of my '21 access cab. Liked the color options - wanted something to brighten up the dark interior. Have had them for almost a year now and am happy enough, although the light gray does show food and drink errors. Meh, it's a truck. Wish I could afford sheepskin, but Costco quit selling those years ago.

Those coverking videos make it look so easy till you try it yourself on these tacoma's. Only way we found it easy after wrecking the shin on our hands was to unbolt the seats and carefully tip them forward. Then easy peasy.

The most durable seat covers are probably the Carhartts....but they also are the worst looking IMO. No offense to anyone who likes them, again they are very tough (as Carhartt jeans are) but they look like someone took a pair of fat man pants and loosley slung them over their seats....or like beat up potato sacks. I know, I know...some people will say you can get a tighter fit but there's still that label smackdab in the middle of each seat just to remind you you have a pair of jeans on your seats.....and don't get me started on camo seat covers. :puke:

I really like the Wet Okoles but I'm not super fond of the price. I do alot of outdoor activities in the summertime where I may jump into the truck with wet shorts, so I like the idea of fast drying neoprene...but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I actually really like the material of the factory seats as well,. Really wish Toyota would make a decent factory option out of that material. Has anyone priced how much it is to just replace the seats with new factory material? Probably crazy expensive.

Sorry, but this was MY VIDEO. And sorry again, but it WAS easy. In fact, it was a LOT easier than CoverKing said it would be! I was very pleasantly surprised!

I realize that whats your video, i was criticizing the coverkings ones we view when doing a buddies truck. Their very easy as long as you unbolt the seats, otherwise neither of us had tiny hands. Their installation kit wasn't a lot of help either.

Thanks for all the ideas gents.
So far for me, its down to Wetokole and Bartact. The only issue so far I see with the Bartact (I REALLY loved the Bartacts I had in my JKRU as the molle attachments were super useful) is that I wanted to break up the gray/concrete & black interior with some sand color to match the 4V6 on the outside, and they seem to be out of anything "khaki" which is their tan color.

I'm going to do some more digging but so far Wetokole is looking like the front runner. The material is nice as I dont mind neoprene at all, and they are water/stain proof like I need as well. I also like their color selection as well as the custom TRD Off Road logo availability too.
