    Good question.

Fine strand is more critical to get a good crimp or connection, they migrate a out more than larger strands.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have been using Marine Terminals for the last 20 years.

All my battery cables have crimped on lugs.

They can be bought reasonable at The East Penn Manufacturing factory store or from Mc Master -Carr.

I replace the wing nuts with Hex nuts.

Allowing cables to be all interchangeable !!

I like them it works for me!

There’s plenty of good options, many already shown. Do not use the field repair temporary terminals. They’ll leave you stranded. DO NOT USE THESE OR ANYTHING THAT LOOKS LIKE THEM.

For crimping this is the one I use. If I needed something to use everyday all day I’d have a hydraulic type or something better. But it does the trick, makes very good crimps. The trick is holding the cable clocked how you want it, and to know when you’re done hitting it. It’ll go thud thud thump. One more light thump, you’re done.

    Other more expensive options.

Ok I see what’s going on there now, it’s replacing the post on the adapter so you don’t have to use the shim.

Do the aftermarket mini screws that hold down the battery wiring vibrate loose over time when driving the truck around/off-road? Or are you supposed to put a dab of blue loctite on it before screwing it down onto the wires?
