Okay I'm looking for some better fender flares for tire clearance. I have an 03 DC with factory fender flares. I wouldn't mine to just remove them, but of course the square holes. I like the Fiberwerx set for the front. It doesn't seem they have a rear option though. I don't like the riveted look at all so there goes the bushwhackers. Does anyone else know of any else taking suggestions for front or rear. Thanks. Here is a picture of my rear tire when stuffed in the wheel well. As you can see it rubs the back corner and is close to hitting everything else. IMG_20180707_175747742.jpg

OME ones with an angle grinder or dremel cutting tool :sawzall:

There really aren't that many aftermarket flare options for us unless you want the Bushwhacker flares or the long travel fenders

Correct...I've only seen the bushwhackers, stock, and entire bedsides. You could just trim

yeah still more bedsides only though. So about the cutting. Im not opposed to it, but will it create an open hole?

That is true, although for the rear unless you get a wider axle is going to look silly since LT doesnt widen the rear. I was planning on getting Methods with some offset and running spidertrax spacers then picking up some fiberglass bedsides since my have some dents.
Also not to thread jack, but hows the light throw on the Hellas

Light throw on them is okay, they're halogens so not usually as good as LEDs. I moved the halogens to point rearward and have 4 LEDs up front now instead.

yeah I think some LT guys run wheel spacers in the rear to widen the rear stance, but to me it's most the front that looks 'off' if someone has the wide front LT flares and no LT suspension.

Maybe. But nothing a small sheet of rubber or plastic couldn't cure. From the looks of the pic, it looks like it might be barely rubbing, so you shouldn't have to trim much.

Why not just get an axle relocation bracket? I think it will push your axle forward a little bit and you don't rub on the back part of the fender anymore.

Bushwacker makes the extended A fender flares which look very similar to oem ones.

Do you know what the coverage on the 01-04 OEM flares is? Feels to me like they are also about 1.5", so not sure the Bushwackers would be any different.

Just stick with the factory ones man, you already have the bigger ones that come on are trucks, and they are on there way better then any aftermarket one that only mounts to the lip of the fender.

So either trim some to fit, bump stop your travel(might save your springs life) or lift your truck some.
