Have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma auto with a 2.7L in it. Have a A340F transmission in it. Flexplate is completely open and looks like there should be a cover that bolts the transmission Bellhousing and bolts to the motor as well. Can’t find it anywhere online and need help. There should definitely be an access plate that covers the exposed portion of the bell housing, but it also looks like you're missing at least one flex plate bolt from what I can tell in the picture. I'd recommend turning the crankshaft with a socket to verify the rest of them are installed.

Looks like you need this cover and the dust seal. Verify with the dealer parts department:

yes I’m aware of the missing bolts on the flexplate. I put a new tranny in it but I’m just missing that part.
