Ok so i looked of a thread on this but could not find one. I have a 2022 taco sport with the bed mat. Does anyone recommend a spray in bed liber. I don't want to have to worry about what i throw in the back, but don't know much about the composite the bed is made out of. In new to pickups as you can see.

No need for a bed liner.

I've seen a few with a spray in liner. The owners got it done since the plastic bed is pretty slippery.

You shouldn’t need a spray in liner to protect anything with composite bed, plus bed mat keeps things from sliding. So don’t worry about protecting it, its practically indestructible.

You probably wont find a lot of Tacoma owners who have had a liner installed. I absolutely used the beans off my 2nd gens stock bed with 200K + miles . Ive hauled firewood, engines, scrap metal, demolition junk, mulch, gravel, lawn mowers, tools, pallets, bricks, brush etc. Aside from some battle scrapes, never had any issues.

I think the only way you would ever break the composite bed is if you threw a cinder block at the bed from 20 ft.

I think that the bed mat works just fine ... I've been quite happy with how it takes abuse and keeps items from sliding around.

That plastic bed liner is slick as owl sh*t on a rainy day. OEM Bed Liner works wonders and adds a bit weight which is a good thing.

Stuff doesn't slide around now for sure. But, if you find yourself about to haul some mulch or garden dirt or sand or whatnot throw down a
tarp so that kinda stuff don't stick around. I do that when hauling loads of garden dirt for the wife (unbagged) and cleanup is a snap.

Save your money, not worth it. The composite bed material is pretty tough. The bed mat is all you need, plus maybe getting past caring what the bed of your pickup truck looks like.

    Great movie!
