Hey folks sharing some information on my Cargo Ease Dual Bedslide.

    G2G (Good2Go) 2015 DCLB TRD Sport
Built for dispersed camping, forest roads and trail.

But.... I also do a lot of DIY to my house. After the completion of a retaining wall project to the front yard I realized just how much freaking work getting bags of concrete etc. in and back out again of the bed it was....

In my case I chose the Cargo Ease Dual Bedslide.
Cargo Ease is a Canadian company, I purchased it from an American website RealTruck/Tonneau World.
This is where the shit show started.

When ordering off the Tonneau World website - pop down menus - Year - Make - Short Bed - Long Bed - Liner - No Liner - Buy Now.
    3-4 Weeks
    No brainer right?

Well, we know Covid 19 turned the World upside down. 3-4 weeks turned into 4 months.
My heartburn as a customer was, when I made enquiries to Tonneau World - they would acknowledge with an operator, that creates a ticket number, and that was it. I got no more information. 4 months of NO DIALOGUE.

I researched where Cargo Ease was. Ontario Canada. I went to their website and reached out. I got a next day reply from Jamie. Jamie was AWESOME. She checked my order number, exp, aimed I should have been told 3 months.... But, more so, I had someone to talk to and give me answers. She even spoke to the guy on the manufacturing floor to find out my status. Jamie was AWESOME. Honestly, Tonneau World sucked.

Nearly 4 months later Jamie of Cargo Ease and myself rejoice. It's now on its way.

It arrives at my house. It's nearing the end of my work day - and Im excited. I only have time to open the undamaged box. The box was pristine. I open the box.... I spoke to myself and said " this mother fucker is nice".
I was so happy and trying to be as respectful to Jamie of Cargo Ease I sent her a thank you note, to her and her company. 4 months it was worth the wait.

Coffee mug, I step out in the garage dark and early to make plans for the slides install with a coffee mug in one hand. I am happy. It was even nice to just look at. Lol.

I've built a fair number of things in my day. My age and experience - told me this thing is 200+ pounds. Get the tape measure first.

As it layed on the pallet I measured the slide. Then I measured it again and again.... My stomach sank, I put my coffee mug down, I measured the bed of G2G.
After waiting 4 months, the bedslide I received was 2" too long.
Folks we have long bed tacos and short bed tacos....

In disbelief I take pics. I send them to Cargo Ease. The rejoicing Jamie and I did was now somber.
She checked with the manufacturing floor Lead. I learned Cargo Ease builds per an order. My order was through RealTruck/Tonneau World.

I was not going to wait 4 more months. I told them come get it, it will be out of my garage and roadside come get it...

    I was in fucking dismay.

I refused to believe what was happening. Single handedly I stood the 250# slide on edge to evaluate and understand it's construction. Again, coffee mug in hand and in disbelief I evaluated the construction.
Moments later I returned to the computer and sent Jamie my thoughts and proposal.
I'll cut the slide to fit, I sent pics to her of my thoughts. Stating I will cut 2" out the slide, but only for 50% off the price, or come get it.

Awesome Jamie of Cargo Ease shares my pics with my outlined intentions to cut out 2" with the Lead on the shop floor. He too was extremely helpful with what to do, but he agreed my intention would be correct.

Long story short, Cargo Ease expressed disappointment with their distributor Tonneau World/ RealTruck and furnished build numbers. She went to work hard in my behalf. I got a beautifully made slide for 50% off.
A few pics of the alteration.

I also emphasize Jamie at Cargo Ease, the manufacturing boss on the floor were awesome, frustrated, and sympathetic. The slide? Fucking Awesome.

Please, if you read this, read Part 2. It's a great outcome and a very nice bedslide.
