Bed Size of 2005-2015

Hello All!
I have 2008 Tacoma Access Cab with a 6' foot bed. The cab is too small for my family so we're looking to upgrade, however I don't want a huge truck, so I am interested in other Tacomas or Tundras. Does anyone know if other years of the Tacoma have the exact same dimensions of the bed? I also have a camper shell that would be great to transfer over to a new truck, but don't know if it'll fit. I'm looking at the 2nd gen as well as 3rd gen.

6' is the largest bed for any tacoma no matter the year.

The tundra is considered a huge truck, and the Tacoma bed too small. You might be SOL unfortunately.

 

I want a 6' bed. But if the tacoma has a full cab (not the access) sometimes it comes with a 5' bed.

 

05-15 Tacoma double cab long bed (aka 'DCLB') has the same bed, and will accept the same camper shell as your access cab.

 

Oh gotcha. Yeah like others have said. You can get a Double Cab with a 6' bed and the cap will transfer over.
