Is anyone else experiencing this issue on your '24 ?
The bed rail cap is coming up, more so toward the cab of the truck. Issue worsened when I installed the rails for my Tonneau cover. The adhesive looks to be on a foam block which is not holding well. Any ideas on how to get it to lay flat before I do something stupid ?
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated

Seen people have that problem already. Some have taken it to dealer to complain but I do not think I have seen any resolution. Maybe a 10 pound weight and the hot sun will mold it back.

Gonna try it ! Biggest issue I see without having remove all the way, there is a gap between truck bed and inner bottom of the plastic. The adhesive right now is connected to a foamboard like spacer. Ill build it up under there and give it a shot

I used that to attach some body side molding to a neighbors car. Went many years and did not come off...

I would remove the existing junk and put the new stuff on. Weight it down in the sun if you can or just use some painters tape to hold it in place for a couple of hours. You should be good to go...

'24firstaco, do you have a tonneau cover? When I installed my Undercover Ultra-Flex, the mounting rails pulled on the caps. I had to move them around to get a correct fit.

I think Texas Truck Channel had the same issue with theirs.

Mine has this issue although it’s not that high off the bed rail yet. Are there no clips holding it in?

Mine is slightly coming up after installation of tonneau cover. I was thinking of removing those factory double sided blocks and applying some JB weld on it then shoving them back in. That will definitely lock it down

I take it this is happening with aftermarket covers …? if so Toyota is not responsible for it . I would reach out to the manufacturer of the cover to get a resolution or u can go with the tape like others suggested but I would clean off the oem stuff first before applying .

There are a combo of body clips and adhesive "blocks"

Try this - loosen the bed rail (the one attached to the bed track) and push it up as much as you can and re-tighten the bolts. Another set of hands may help. It should help alleviate the pull on the bed cap.

I read earlier that Toyota is aware of this issue and are working to get this fixed. Hopefully by my first oil change they will have a solution.

Yup I’m seeing the same thing. Recently installed a BAKflip tonneau and the rail caps on both sides are pulling up.

The bed rail caps are just held on with a bunch of clips. They are not attached to the bed or blocks mentioned above with any sort of adhesive. I think that the blocks are just there to support weight on the caps.

I had both of my bed rail caps off to install my Diamondback tonneau cover. They have the installer remove the caps and fit in some extra blocks to support the pressure from their clamps that hold the cover to the bed.
