Has anyone had luck with installing a bed rack with a Roll-N-Lock bed cover? I know Voodoo makes a system which they say works with Retrax and other brands, but they don't list Roll-N-Lock specifically which leads me to think it may not work. I'd just be curious to see if anyone has had success because I'd love to get a rack that can work with the Roll-N-Lock.

Have you already pulled the trigger on the Roll-N-Lock or are you looking for a bed rack compatible with a rolling cover?

The Roll-N-Lock came with the truck, so it's already on.

OK. I was going to steer you towards TruckCoversUSA if you were hunting for a rolling cover. They have two different rack types for their rolling covers. I have the Yakima racks on mine now.

I had a Roll-N-Lock, never figured out a good way to get any rack up on it.

    Never mind, hunt on!

Not sure what kind of "rack" you had in mind, but roll n lock has this:

    https://www.rollnlock.com/roll-n-lo...patible-with-the-m-series-and-a-series-covers

Its unclear to me if it uses T-slot system that Yakima and Thule uses.

    Install seems pretty straight forward

I'd really like to be able to get a rack to support a roof-top tent. I don't think the Roll-N-Lock rails support what I need. I looked into them already.

Checking in, anyone find a way to mount a rooftop tent while keeping their M-series on?

I had to go with the Retrax XR to keep the rolling tonneau and still have the T rail tracks to hold my bed rack by Uptop Overland.

can I see a picture? is a retrax XR a different brand roll cover, or a specialized bracket?

It is a very clean setup fast on and off of the roof tent with the T rails and good security. Go to Uptop Overland and pick the Retrax mid height bed rack truss system. Uptop designed their bedrack to mount on those rails. I was going to get a Jeep Gladiator last month but Retrax did not make one for the Gladiator. Truck Cover USA makes a rolling one that is just like the Retrax XR bit you have to use Thule and Yakima mounts and cross bars. Having a lockable cover while overlanding with the tent is a necessity for me.

With custom brackets, you can pretty much use whatever rack you want. Here's where I able to get peragon cover to works with Yakima rack.

Hey Sworks99, checking in on how this is working for you after a while.? Getting the Retrax XR this Friday and about to pull the trigger on the UpTop Truss system with the cab and bed rack racks. I want a fully level roof rack, so will be doing the full height bed rack. Do you still have / are you still happy with the setup?

it is really the best combination for security for your gear, storage and modularity when you do not want to have the bed rack and tent on your truck it is really easy to remove both items.
