    Hey all,

I don't even know if this is the right spot for this, but here goes...I found a Body Armor overland bedrack online recently. I am wanting one for ease of use of hauling my kayaks. When I went to look at it, it appears as though my j cradles don't fit on the crossbars, as they are the same size width. My question is, anyone else have this type of problem? and does anyone know any kind of solution to this issue? I looked around here before posting on here. TIA

You might need to bolt them directly instead of using the "clamp" that the cradles normally use for cross bars.

So you would just run normal bolts and nuts to secure it to the bar.

Our customers carry kayaks with our bed racks all the time.

These are the cradles that they use: https://www.amazon.com/TMS-J-Bar-Carrier-Mounted-Crossbar/dp/B003V57NUQ?ref_=ast_sto_dp

We would suggest an 18" tall rack, you don't need anything higher if you use the cradles: https://www.max-modular.com/toyota-tacoma-years-2005-to-present-11/max-modular-18-high-bed-rack
