I'm in the market for a bed rack that will mount to the T slot rails on my Retrax XR tonneau cover. I found a couple of decent options (links below). Primary use would be to mount a 23zero 62 RTT, and mount some recovery gear to the sides of the rack. I think the UpTop Truss Bed Rack is much more visually appealing. But I do like that the height of the Yakima Overhaul HD is adjustable in case I ever need to change the height (could raise height to be flush with potential future roof rack to carry longer objects like kayaks etc.). PS. The Yakima Overhaul HD does have a sidebar accessory that can be used to mount recovery gear to the sides. Any thoughts or advice? Any other Retrax XR compatible racks anyone else is aware of that I have missed? Thanks for the help.

I have the Retrax OneMX and I’m debating if I want to swap out the rails for the slotted versions or just go the KB Voodoo adapter route.

Thanks for the info! I will look into this! When I google searched "tacoma bed rack retrax" this option did not show up. I've only heard good things about Voodoo racks. I'll just have to take some measurements and see if there will be enough clearance for me to still use my tailgate pad for my 29er with dropper post.

Go for at least an 18" high rack for that.

Does the use of the modular attachment brackets with the retrax rails reduce the load carrying capacity of the max modular? Or does the 300 pounds dynamic 600 pounds static still apply?

No reduction in load rating, and the cover is still fully functional.

Thanks for the info! What is that water tank you have mounted on the rack?
