Hey guys haven't been here in a while. Thought I would share some pics of what I have done to my truck lately. Also I have put 5k miles on the truck now and I have really grown to love this truck. Finally had a chance to pull my camper last weekend for a Father's Day camping weekend. Pulling wise it seemed to pull just as good as my 15' taco. The way to the lake is on back country fm roads so never really got it over about 65 mph, the roads are pretty rough, but it felt fine. So in order to pull the camper and haul the kayaks with camping gear I decided to build my own rack. Made out of 1-3/4" square tubing and bolted to the track system in the bed.

That rack is awesome. I want to purchase one!

Also love the color. I just ordered a silver DCSB. I originally wanted your color, but they didn't have one on the lot to observe, and my wife convinced me that it would look too light and almost yellowish. Yours looks awesome, the exact color I had in mind. Maybe that serves me right for letting my wife influence my truck selection....

Anybody else have a problem with flying an American flag that way? I dunno, but that sticker with the fake tattered edges, just seems people want that hardcore badass look and forget that's not how it should be.

IMHO, as long as he's not "flying" it in a disrespectful way I'm OK with it. To me he's saying "I'm an American and I'm proud of it"! We need a hell of a lot more of that nowadays....

I understand he has no bad intentions, I just think we have cheapened the flag when we stick it on everything with different "made up" versions nowadays. That website he listed will sell you a flag with a tactical shit logo on it.

The discussion was about the flag on OP's hood. The flag above is disrespectful. On the same level as dependent wives doing photo shoots and draping a flag over their flabby ass body.

I don't see how it's disrespectful. It's a distressed flag. I guess you people think a black and white US flag with a thin blue line is disrespectful? You don't get the point. Do you not think this country is in "distress"? I sure as hell do! Soldiers fighting pos goat humping child molesters only to come back home to see douche bag Obama letting them in our own country. So yea my flag is distressed just like my country is. My flag is "flown" on my truck for everyone to see. To show my support for our men, our soldiers, our police. Those of you that find my flag disrespectful, let me ask you this, where is your flag?

Hood decal kicks ass. I might get one for my truck, but it just screams, "service member". Something I'd rather not everyone to know as I drive around.

The flag they have on their page with their logo on the flag is stupid and disrespectful for sure.

I think the decal is great. Reminds me of this photo and I'm sure when that really happened our flag was probably pretty tattered, but still respected image.jpg
