Anyone here have luck finding a no-drill bed cover? I'm debating between a retractable bed cover or a soft-shell camper shell.

    Features:
    1. Easy to install and uninstall
    2. Doesn't leave behind holes/scraps/etc.
    3. Doesn't take up a lot of bed space if I leave it on for a while (but is also easy to take off and look like it was never there)

I don't think I would use it often but maybe trips out of area. Just something to keep the rain out and maybe sticky fingers from snatching things out of the bed when I'm traveling.

A retractable will take up bed space. Roughly a 8", or 10" box for it to roll up into. The one I had year's ago so bolted into top of bedrails. Sounds like soft, or revolver Alum roll up, would be your best choice. Most are no-drill. They utilize cargo rails, or clamps for attachment.

I bought a truxedo sport. It checks all your boxes but I feel it was over priced. You can find basically the same thing for around 200 dollars. Compare different brands on Amazon. This one is not 100% waterproof, not due to the product, but from the design of the bed. There are gaps in the front top corners of the bed. Some one on this site suggested using plumbers putty.

I love the stock trifold from Toyota I know they are pricey but maybe you could find a good used one?

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
I use an Extanh Solid Fold 2.0. It's a solid trifold and can be taken off and put on in about 10mins. Uses brackets on your rails at four corners so there's no drilling and brackets don't take away any room or usability of the rail. It's on the pricey side new but if you can get it used (like mine), it's well worth it.

I had an Extang on a previous Taco. I find the stock trifold on my current Taco easier to open.

Pretty much all covers will not require drilling.

The only covers that take up bed space are retractable covers with a canister.

I have a Truxedo Lo Pro QT. Easy to install. No holes to drill. Rolls up and stores easily, without removing at the front of the bed. Not completely water proof. Some water may get into the bed but it's minimal. There are some videos on youtube about their products.

Lomax trifold hard cover. Looks great and is very low profile. Excellent quality. It’s expensive but worth it. Contact @truckalter for a great discount.

I really like my Leer HF650M. No drilling required. Minimal leaks. It’s a quad fold and cover does not rest on cab of truck.
